Hello OGFB Members - I've never fished the length of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal from the Double Arch Bridge at West Marton to the Foulridge Tunnel. Are there any local anglers in Barlick active on the OGFB web site who might advise me? Are there any other 'hot spots' in the area? Does the canal fishing come under Northern Anglers or Marsden Star?
Forgive me if this posting is of little interest to most members. By way of explanation I left the Craven area almost 30 years ago to go into the Navy and ended up working 'down south' thereafter. Despite the continuing need to 'earn a crust' in the benighted south my wife and I were blessed with the opportunity to purchase a house in the Barlick area two years ago, and renovations are fast reaching the point where I can anticipate indulging myself with a little leisure time..........Its been a long journey to get so close to where I started off from, but I am indeed 'homeward bound' and a happier man for it!!
