Printable Version William Croasdale, weaver of Earby

Thomas Croasdale of Earby , hatter,  married Mary Riddihough in Thornton on 15 11 1792, and they had two children Robert (1793 and Nancy 1795, ) before going to Oldham Lancs, and I am descended from a son Thomas, bn 1804 there. I have no proof that the William mentioned in the title of my query,is a direct ancestor-they were Non-Conformists, it seems, and there are no baptisms in Thornton apart from Robert and Nancy. Can anyone give me a lead to link my Oldham branch with the Earby branch? I do know that Henry moved to Barnoldswick and I think John and/or Richard moved to Padiham .Any info on Croasdales in the Craven area is welcome. Gwyneth .
