Catherine Croasdale married William Croft ("of Gargrave") in Clitheroe in 1720 and they had just one son there, James born 1722. Her brother William Croasdale b about 1699, married Maria Higson in Earby (she was of Kebrook.)The family inherited from her brother James Higson 1748. A James Croft of Eagden ( or Aigden) on Gisborn parish inherited . Where in Gisborn in Aigden or Eagden? Help Gwyneth

Margaret Charlotte Dogdson m. John Cook Dean I found Margaret to be a descendant of Lewis Carroll when looking up info on the Dodgson family histories. John Cook Dean is related to the Dean's of Gisburn - now Australia.
