I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Pleasant in the sun but I've just taken Dan up to Holt House for his rugby and its blowing a gale up there and 3C cooler than at home.   I might brave the last half of the game after lunch. Nolic

I don't believe in wishing my life away, but I am glad March is over.  Couldn't bear another heatwave.  Tomorow we have 24C, fine with a possible late shower  ...  hope it's not an April Fools Joke, ha ha.

All thru the fields and meadows gay  ....  Enjoy

What a lovely afternoon. Worked at home with windows wide open and just a T shirt on. Might need a jumper in an hour or so. Nolic

"Just a T-shirt on" ???? Trying to scare the passers by Nolic?
We woke to gale force winds, driving rain, a power black-out and the sound of emergency vehicle sirens yesterday. My watering can was doing loop-the-loops all around the back yard and it is the first time we have experienced the comforting sound of rain thundering down our gutters and downpipes! We moved in here last September....apart from some minor showers that basically dried up as they hit the ground, it is the first real rain we have had. I'm just grateful the roof stayed on.

Another mild morning. Still T shirt - and tracky bottoms  Maz. I hope not to be scaring anyone for much longer - took the plunge and joined a slimming club last night. Nolic
