It would appear there is going to be a 2010 Barlick Gala. The weekend of September 11 and 12.

Sounds like a good do, there's some 17th century battle re-enactments (if it's the same crew who did this in the town square it's well worth seeing) and a live music stage with lots of local bands.

 It's all happening in Victory Park. If anyone want to enter a carnival cart, run a charity stall or enter the tug of war competition, David Whipp is your man.
