Most of us have cameras' and most of these will be digital, a very useful tool. The one I use most is a Fuji Finepix, it is capable of delivering good results without overburdening the brain, for one thing I am not, is a photographer. Couple the results with a decent computer and program and all things are possible. Modern graphics interest me, and I find that working pictures is relaxing whilst at the same time exercising the grey matter. I would like this topic to be open to all, and await your input with eager anticipation. Also I would like it to be a place of learning, as in "how do I do this or that". Whatever the content I would also like it to be entertaining, non PC and friendly. So here is a bank canvas on which to demonstrate your digital artwork, have fun and enjoy.
The product of less than an hours effort.
A simple pic in under five minutes.
For the benefit of non locals there is a microlight club just down the road.

Good to see Barlick International Airport being put to good use. I have hours of fun with Photoshop, it will be nice to see a few manipulated images on here.

That image of Jack is still brilliant, encapsulates his character exactly! I like the Town Square one.
Thomo, a blow-up of Cooperative Street in the station pic?

Stanley, the view of Co-op St in my pic is a current one, the original shows even less, but from memory the layout was: Wellhouse St end, standard double fronted grocery shop with warehouse above, the bulk of the remainder of the first floor was the Co-op hall ballroom the access being at the railway end, the rest was storage and offices. if I do find a better pic I will post it here.

I love Photoshop and I love morphed pics, so show us more. I shall have a little look for some I have done too...
(so...I take it the Railway Station was where the Coop is now...or at least between where the Coop is now, and the street? See...I never knew that, so I am finding all these pics quite interesting. So what was on the old post office corner before the old post office (council info office last time we visited) was there?)
get your people to phone my people and we will do lunch...MAZ |

Hi Marilyn. Where the Post Office was built? the site had a row of wooden shops on the Fernlea Avenue side one of which was the "saddlers" or Fodens as we later knew it another may have been Abe Wears butchers. behind the shops was just an empty piece of land with the next building along being the Liberal Club, now civic hall.
