I noticed quite a few pictures of Old Soldiers without names attached to them. It got me to thinking how could people find out who they are. I know of another web site that has members who seem to be able to identify regiments from the uniforms taken from old photographs. It may be a start to identyfying some of them  http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/index.php

Thanks Frank.
There are quite a few nameless soldier pictures Frank. I think one of the Briercliffe forum members is also a member on the link you posted. I'll ask him if he can post a message pointing them out.
Mike Townend from Towneley Hall sent many of them to me for the Briercliffe site in the hope that someone may spot one and provide an indentity.  He has a contact who can identify some regiments but additional info was not provided to me.
