Wonderful morning! about 45F, no wind, dry, clear sky and best of all, Jack and I were out of the house and on our early morning walk round Valley Gardens at 5:45! Birds singing their hearts out, only a light padded coat on and simply a beatiful morning. Glass is 30" and rising, forecast is good for the rest of the week. Only problem is of course the Time Gods will steal an hour off us early birds on Saturday night!

The sun has put his hat on, risen above the house roofs opposite and is flooding in the upstairs windows. Wonderful tonic! (Doctor Green Anni!)

It was a long T shirt and quite modest I'll bet. Another lovely day in prospect. I heard something on the shipping forecast i heve never heard before. "No wind expected in the next 24 hours" Not often all coastal areas are calm. This and better will do!

It's just amazing how happy everyone is, wherever you go!

Whether Blackburn hospital, local butty shop or people in the street, everyone has smiled and commented on the weather.

What a difference a ray of sunlight makes to the nation's attitude!

Coudier and cooler this morning and glass drops back but still good weather for the end of March. Clocks alter tonight!

Cooler again and the sods have stolen an hour of morning daylight off me. Good to tell the legislators aren't early risers!

Dampish days but warmer. Flowering shrubs in Valley Gardens are in full bloom. April already!
