Belle is right on both counts. Talent abounding....

Nobody is rising to the bait on 'Impetuous'. I am devastated! Think Barry Fitzgerald as the matchmaker in the 'Quiet Man' when he saw the broken bed the day after the wedding....

I agree, it is a bit stark, I suppose that you could tone it down a touch but of course we have already done one sunset....
I will have look for other ideas.

I agree belle , I am not keen on the oil . I admire the skill that went into it tremendously , but it is not my sort of picture.  Did I tell you  we spent a day in the Louvre when we were in Paris and spent most of it looking at technique. I have never done that before when we have visited there. Previously I just looked at the pictures and thought I like that or I don't etc.

Sue, do you mean the sunset?

If so its not a painting it's a photo as a suggestion for another possible project.....

I like the colours in the sunset one , although it seems too busy !
I would like to try  to capture that in a similar way. Lovely work everyone. I am picking up but its taking time.

Well done for persevering flutters, and this topic needs those who appreciate art as much as those who do it..you will get there.

I have had a "visual feeling" test at aAiredale, which meant I had to look  ito a  smallscreen  where dots flashed on ,. Some I missed completely on my left side. The results are printed out for the eye specialist .  My vision is better now than it was ,but still hazy on my left side. Hopefully with the specialist and time  my vision will get back to normal .  I am not a driver  but would not be able to drive  with my eyes being like this. Yesterday I went out  with a friend who picked me upJust crossing the road is scary for me . It did me good to get out then ,as my confidence  has taken a battering.Good luck to your brotherSue  and  tell him to keep positive , which is not easy!

Flutters, I have to agree with Stanley about the 3 hours of shopping - I don't think I've ever managed 3 hours of it in my lifetime!
