The sun is going down over the Welsh hills. It is looking across the estuary from Liverpool to Wales

Lovely pics Sue. Takes me back to a very unsettled time, probably 1974, when I was living in a grotty bedsit in Crosby and working for the Dept of Pensions in Bootle. Not my happiest days, but all part of lifes rich pattern!
I might have a go.....

It is worth a visit Nolic - those statues are amazing.  When we went someone had stuck a Liverpool shirt on one of them.

They both have the little birds in, but the one with the man has more character.

Sorry I've been absent Miss, I've got a sick note!

I like the second one, but i have a thing about landscapes in portrait.

I would't have chosen either - not enough variation in the landscape for me but I'll have a go at the first. Nolic

I might have a go at the second one, once we've all recovered from this "swine" flu.
