Not sure if this is a bug or not?
Tried to view the following topic WHOS WHO ... AND MORE TO THE POINT WHY?!?
and got the following error message

Funny, I just tried it and it was OK again. Try accessing it via this link and see if that cures the problem.

Stanley, highight the page's URL (i.e. web address) in Firefox's box at the top of the page (click or double click, as necessary), then use Control C just as with text elsewhere. This copies the URL for you.
Now the trouble is if I do the same and paste the URL here it is so long that it makes the thread unwieldy - everyone has to scroll sideways. I can think of two solutions. The first (as you know) is to make a word, or words, into a clickable link. So if I highlight the two words "Who's who" below, then click on that little chain symbol in the top row of the Reply Box icons, put my cursor in the top box press ("Link URL") and press Control V (paste), then "Insert", I get a linked phrase so...

Incidentally , if after pasting I also click open the dropdown "Target" box and choose "Open in new window (blank)" then I get this next link. If you try that, you will see in Firefox it opens in a new tab (page) within your browser. In IE it probably opens in a new instance of the browser, unless Microsoft have got around to making tabbed browsing a feature of IE now. I wouldn't want to do without tabbed browsing and often have 4 or 5 pages open at a time.
Who's who
Now the second solution you might not be familiar with. To do it this way I will copy the URL as before, then (in another Firefox page) go to the web site of TinyURL...

Paste the URL into the box in the centre of the page and click the button that says "Make TinyURL". A new page opens titled "TinyURL was created!" and showing the address: http://tinyurl.com/6zgaht
I can now paste that new short link here and get the same result as pasting the original long URL...

I think I'll have to print that out and memorise it. Not got to grips with tabs in Firefox yet, I'm too busy rabbiting on......
