Each to their own Tripps but I find I read this, what did we have for tea, what wildlife did you see and Connors Corner - not many out of the rest.

Cathy, you're right, we are having almost exactly the same weather as you. Chilly nights and moderate days with showers. Glass rock solid on 29.2" so no change in prospect. Gardens are loving it but we still have the possibility of a late frost, keep an eye on those expensive bedding plants!

Rain most of the night. Drizzling now. Glass was dropping yesterday and is down at 28.8" now after rising slightly this morning. Good for the grass but it would be nice to see the sun. Good news is it is much warmer, there was a SW wind during the night but it's swinging to the West now.

It seems the same as us, Stanley. So I DID wash the bedding, towels and bath mats. All dried on the line, so I am happy.
Cool, but with lovely blue skies and no wind...so it is nice if you can find a sunny spot against a warm brick wall to sit and soak it in.
Our airports have been chaos these past few days due to ash cloud coming across (from ?Chile), and many flights have been cancelled. They are reporting that ash cloud will cover our city tomorrow, so might not see these lovely blue skies again until later in the week. (I take it the ash cloud is at flight altitude, so I doubt we will be forced to hold handkerchiefs over our mouths or anything drastic.)

Ysterday's post gone AWOL. No matter, showery day and 29.2". Glass has fallen slighty to 29" this morning. West wind so probably more showers.

Yesterday was warm and moist, it was no surprise that aroud tea time the skies darkened ominously and the heavens dropped gallons on us. The air still seems moist this morning but cooler.

Only good thing Belle is that the gardens trees and meadows are loving it. Dead on 29" and cloudy again, not much change but it could be a lot worse!

Cloudy and a bit unpredictable....but I am pretty sure the washing is dry. Will have to dash out and get it in though, as it could all change quite rapidly.

The only time I went outside today was to put some rubbish in the bin. I've spent half the day cleaning, everywhere is spick and span Smile   I know its been windy and raining, at 3 o'clock it suddenly became very cold and by 4 o'clock I had the heater on.   At the moment I have a load of towels positioned around the heater trying to get them dry.  I don't mind cause I enjoy days like this.

All thru the fields and meadows gay  ....  Enjoy

100% overcast, damp and cool. Glass gone up to 29" but definitely not summer weather. As I walked up to Letcliffe yesterday I remembered a June day in the late 1950s when I went across to the East Riding for a load of hay and had 6" of snow around Leeds. At least we haven't reached that stage yet.

Cathy, Perth isn't doing so badly but you are having Barlick weather!
