I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

BJ and I went up Letcliffe at 09:00.  Good call, we had a dry walk and it shuttered down for the rest of the morning.  Dry at the moment ro another short trot is indicated.

Chucking it down here for ther past couple of hours - did not need to water the garden this morning.  Glass has gone up slightly although the forecast for tomorrow is not good.

Much rain during the night.  Thunderstorms marching about at about 04:00 and it doesn't look a lot better now.  Glass is down but could have further to go yet.

Thunder, rain, hail, I nearly didn't go out, but thankfully I managed to get my shopping done today.  While waiting for my taxi, an access cab pulled up to pick up a lady in a wheel-chair, the driver asked how long I'd been waiting (25mins), he said that I'd still be waiting in 1/2 an hours time, and offered that I could share the taxi.  Excellent, it was definately better than having the wind going right thru me ... Brrrr.   The driver talked about 'what goes around come's around', either I have done a good deed of late or he is about to have one done for him, I hope so.  9C tonight & 15C for Saturday... I'm not bothered cause now I don't 'have' to go out.   Smile

Glad you got your lift Cath.  A good deed in a naughty world.  BJ and I snatched our walk to Letcliffe in sunshine and breeze.  Persistent rain seems to have moved on......  for the time being!

Yup, it is persistenting down here at the moment. Got an outside do to go to this afternoon. A pig carcase is being smoked as my fingers falter over the keyboard.
