Any guidance on this would be appreciated. Initially I enrolled with just basic details. The other day I thought of filling in the bit that says 'likes' dislikes'etc but when I clicked on 'submit' after expanding/updating the profile I kept getting a message that I hadn't entered the url. See below. There Was A Problem - You Must prefix your URL with http:// or https://
| Trouble is I don't know to what it's referring. Any advice? It's not the end of the world if I can't. I'm not that fussed. Just thought that as I'm not vastly computer literate I must be doing something wrong but it's frustrating not knowing what it is.

U = Uniform R = Resource L = Locator
Thus Uniform Resource Locator. This is jargon roughly meaning "website location "
So if you had a web sight called joesplace.com your URL in this case wuold be
http://www.joesplace.com
the http:// bit indicating the using of http protocol.
Of course you may be like 99% of internet users and not have a website and under those circumstances it will not affect you.

Ensure the previously mentioned boxes are either completely clear, "click" in them and use the delete key a few times (even a space affects them, I've tried it and get the same error as you) or ensure they look like this...

Out of curiosity which web browser are you using?
This may be a complete red herring but it might just lead somewhere.

Its not very clever board software in my not so humble opinion. It insists I'm 51 despite it saying (correctly) I was born on March 7th 1958.

Sorry; Internet Explorer is what we have. To be honest I don't think I canbe bothered to try any more; it's fairly irrelevant isn't it?
