That figures Wendy, I estimated the same speed on Letcliffe at noon which is far more exposed.

Glass falling rapidly to 28.6". Forecast is for a decent day with rising winds from the SW (Very warm this morning) and heavy rain developing tonight and all day tomorrow.

What a day - a lovely bright but windy morning but now the rain is lashing on the windows and the wind is very strong.

We don't seem to have had the rain yet and the wind is not serious. Glass is rising again, up at just above 29". Dry at the moment, could we be escaping again in Barlick?

We had some really strong sqalls yesterday afternoon, but a lovely clear evening.  Tornados did damage in Stockport area.  Lovely bright day today but very cold wind.

Bracing day but two dry walks, always a bonus at this time of the year. Glass is like a yo-yo, down at 28.5 this morning. Wet and breezy outside but nothing serious. Definitely cooler.

Later, just back from early walk. Hail and rain. Worth remembering it's snowing in Western Scotland at the same altitude as Barlick.

No rain here nor wind just a bright, sunny day.

Blustery showers. Heavy rain at 11:00 but watery sun half an hour later on walk up to Letcliffe. Sunshine on the high moors in the Dales. Glass back up at 29" and very cold and dry outside. There will be a grass frost. Coldest morning yet I think.

It was raining cold rain by the time I went out for my morning walk and dinnertime wasn't much better. Glass dropped to 28.5" overnight and we have cold rain at the moment driven by a brisk wind. November weather.

Glorious sunshine at the moment after heavy squally showers - looks like more to come though.

We have been blessed with lovely weather of late and today is no different with 26C.  Would love to get out in the garden and do some clipping but can't because of my back problem, even walking is hard at the moment.  Will sit out the back for a while in the sun tho and soak up some vitamin D.

All thru the fields and meadows gay  ....  Enjoy

Cathy, sorry to hear it's still hampering you. We have nothing like that. Just been outside and it's dry but a cold wind, probably nearer 6C than 26 and the wind makes it feel colder. Glass steady on 28.5" and we can only hope there will be some bright spells. Trick is to catch them and get my walks done in the dry! I managed a dry one to Letcliffe yesterday.

Had some very heavy showers here and again cold.  I see on Country Tracks there is a chance of snow showers here this next week - I hope not.
