The small conical emitters are being installed on the lamp posts in Skipton Road. No news from Mrs Trelliss. Only good thing is that Turkey foil is on sale in the Cathedral of Chice. Bit thicker than usual brand. Good for lining beanies to block the transmissions.

If anyone needs to block transmissions , I am reliably informed tha Lidl will be selling the thick foil intended to be put behind radiators...next week.......
(nearly as good as a chocolate fireguard .....eh! )

Black as your hat down here, not a sign of any lights despite the conical transmitters being openly displayed in HMP tesco. (Her Majesty's Purchasers). Funny thing though, all the transmitters are set at a 40° angle off upright and are all pointing east....

Are these green things naturally grown and shaped or are they artifical?
Where do they live for the other 10 months of the year?

After many years of experimenting with growing perfectly conical trees, inspired by James Watt's success growing square tomatoes, they eventually decided to make artificial ones from recycled redundant street decorations. Rumour is that they are stored in Trawden, the most secretive village in Pendle.

I have heard they may be experimenting with sprouts..whether that's to produce the foliage or just a smoke screen to put us off the scent I don't know.

We had reports of sightings of Elves and Dwarfs in Trawden some years ago. Perhaps they are still active?
It was at about the same time as the mysterious air accident at Gawthorpe which was very quickly hushed up by the autorities.

Oooohh I know all about the scent of sprouts. Followed Mr Wogan's advice for years and have been boiling mine since mid October. And the sprouts.....

The chinese have perfected 100 year old sprouts by burying them in the ground in special clay..inscrutable orientals eh?

When I was a kid , I hated the taste of Brussel Sprouts ......I love them now (my favourite recipe is to parr boil and add them to softened onion and garlic with chopped bacon)...**
I heard not long ago that there was a scientically proven reason for certain people not liking them.....something to do with enzymes in their saliva resulting in that "Metalic /horrid " taste ?????
** Ooops ...forgot the Creme Fraiche or Plain Yoghurt....sorry !
