I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic. However..... have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Hi everyone ... we have been blessed with perfect weather for the past week and a half, 24 - 27C, this week-end is our long week-end for Anzac Day and rain is forecast for each day. Rain is a blessing for us too, but to think that we have been stuck in offices/ factories etc while the weather is perfect outside, then we get an extra day off ... and it rains. Can't complain, rephrase that, shouldn't complain. Oh dear ... we need the rain!!

Took Sam to Cleveleys yesterday, he loves the beach, guess what - the tide was full in! The weather was perfect though what a nice change. They must have spent millions on the promenade by the shopping street it is lovely. Was fantastic yesterday sitting there looking out to sea. The River Dance is still there on her side - wonder when they will begin cutting her up.

I was out this morning but came back and after putting the washing out left the kitchen door open and have been working in tracky bots and a T shirt . I'm just starting to feel a little chilly but ...wait... the suns just come out and I'm warm again. Nice day though as Moh says not quite as warm as yesterday and certainly not as bright as Tuesday. I turned the boiler down today as the house is staying a lot warmer for longer without the need for as much heating

Nowhere near that at the moment. Quite mild when I took Misty out early doors but a bit "fresh" at the moment. Nolic

Lovely day here in Norfolk. Blue skies, slight breeze. A little bit warmer than perfect dog walking weather.

We had heavy sheets of rain last night with winds, more showers on and off today, and we are to expect a hailstorm later tonight. My flowers are smiling, and the diasmos are brilliant green. Rain at last.

Stiff breeze has kept the temperature down despite the strong sun but a nice day. Cut the dead wood off the herbs in the front garden and spopt treated the weeds with glycosphte or whatever they call it. Reason for that route is that some are deepseated weeds next to the herbs and it will kill them without disturbing the established roots. Wonderful how the mint is spreading by dropping aerial roots in from the ends of what looks like dead wood. I've cut the dead bit out and left the ends rooted....... Looks a lot tidier. Now we need some rain and growy weather.
