Robert, they are out there but like all topics, you get to the stage where we have exhausted the old stories, pics and discoveries. Not surprising really whan you look at the mass of information SC has produced over the years. It is still being accessed by non members, I keep an eye on the page hits for the diffenet sections and before March we will have reached a million hits, that's more than many websites get. Bob is still posting his finds, I have my eyes open and I'm sure others are doing the same thing. Who knows, a fresh eye may fall on the topic and someone might step in with new postings. Stranger things have happened. Nice to know you are still out there.

Tom the link was there but I hadn't flagged it up, I have done it, try it out.
Did anyone watch the demolition of the 380ft tower in Texas on C5 last night? I know these programmes can be predictable but this one was a cut above the others. Massive construction and more re-bar than you could poke a stick at caused big problems. Tragedy was that despite wonderful standards someone had cocked up the foundation and the block was never finished as it started tilting. Interesting programme and such a shame, someone lost a lot of money!

So much for the promise that it would be kept as an Industrial Heitage monument.

im on the high reach yes so far so good ,,,scaffolding builldings is useless you cant get the grab over the walls ,,due to the standards being in the way, council staff seem to think debris jumps from buildings instead of falling in an arc,,,,,stanley i did see the programme talk about drag it out they did well though pre stressed beams eh ,, bet there was a wage or two in rebar munching forever was thread bear when we did the mecca in blackpool and that was only 60 foot high ...looking forward to seeing the pics bob whos doing it ,,
