Cathy, lots of coverage of her over here. Pity Kev reneiged on the environmental stuff, should have stuck to his guns.
I was sat out in a garden on Friday, here's a pic daughter Susan did of me, all scrubbed up.

Looking Good, Stanley.
We had a nice day here but BOY! the temperature dropped as the sun went down. It was the same yesterday and I think it got down to 3 degrees overnight. I woke up about 4 am because 'someone' had pulled the quilt completely off me....nothing new in that....but I was only wearing a T-shirt nightie and I was cold. Might find something a bit more suitable tonight.
get your people to phone my people and we will do lunch...MAZ |

We may be getting some useful rain from Wednesday onwards. The Atlantic systems seem to have re-established their path. Still a bit weak so not much chance of a big event. Good. very dull and close here but it's still early.

Rain would be really good. Our spring is still flowing, but you wonder how much longer it can keep providing. I wonder how Doc is managing up at Prospect.

We have just had some large drops of rain which dried pretty much as fast as they hit the floor.

Moh, saw Doc on Friday, he is good and back at work.
Light rain all night, no weight but a good thing because it will have time to soak in. Grass will benefit immediately, water levels will take a lot more to raise them. Glass is relatively high but very heavy slow-moving overcast coming in from the west seems to suggest quite a long spell of rain.

Update, it's gone very dark outside.... Street lights are clicking back on in back street and much heavier rain.

We are in the grips of Winter. Our heating isn't working properly at work and i had to put up with wet stocking feet and trouser bottoms till mid afternoon. Others were sat in their jackets and scarves, and one even had a beanie on for most of the day ... lol
Home in front of the heat now, expecting hail I think.
