It works. Brilliant! I like the way he stopped to scratch his right leg! All that to change a lighting unit?

Dave. Welcome! Chase the buggers, they don't want you setting up in competition!

Tom, you'll look a chump if he nicks yours! By the way, where are you working now?

HAHA !!,Think the days of steeplejacks getting their ladders nicked off chimneys have gone, but you never know, there's a reccession, hehe.

We're here ,there and everywhere at the moment Stanley.

Dave try Bratts ladders, nottingham  or Ramsey ladders in Scotland.

Bob, Peter T once pointed out to me that the worst fall he ever saw was from 10 foot ladder. Best way is to do what I did. Give your ladders away(including the step ladder in the house!)

Nasty ladder weather the last two days! Lots to be said for being old and knackered!

Bit enigmatic Bob! If you want to see a nice old switchboard, go to Masson and look in the engine house. Built of polished slate slabs, the best electrical insulator they had in those days.

Just think of that poor chap Nigel Pargeter and what happended to him. The Radio 4 `More or Less' programme measured how many seconds his scream lasted and then worked out how far he must have fallen. They reckoned about 20 stories so he must have had a very big house! Someone called in and complained the scream was all wrong - there should have been a Doppler effect!
