With regards to uploading your pictures, first of all ensure that your pictures that you want to be uploaded are about 640x480(approx) or less...This means that other users can easily view them on their screens, any bigger and people will have to use their slider bars on their browsers.

Also, if possible make sure that the file sizes of the pictures are less than 100,000 bytes (100k) any larger than this then people with dial up connections will take an age for them to view them.

This site's software supports pictures in the following popular formats.....JPG, BMP, GIF

OK so once your pictures meet the above criteria you are then ready to send them to the OneGuy Site...

Go to the "Pictures" options on the top of the screen, then click on "Submit a Picture" on the menu at the left side of the screen.

Select a category from the pull down menu that you want your picture to appear in.

Give the picture a Title

Then enter the description of the picture, the more you enter here the more informative it will be to the users and the more viewings it will get.

Enter some keywords that would identify the picture for anyone searching the site i.e. "Barnoldswick Weets Hill Landscape"

Then if the picture is on your own Personal computer click the "Upload" button, this will open up a browse window, click "Browse" to enable you to select which picture on your computer to upload. Once you are happy with your selection click on the "Upload" button, this will upload the picture into the following directory here on the site: http://www.oneguyfrombarlick.co.uk/images/userpictures/

Once the upload is complete you will be notified that the operation as been successful. Close the upload window to get back to the "Submit a new picture screen" where you will find that the "URL" for the picture is already completed for you.

If the picture you want to include on this site is already on another website, then proceed with the above instructions except the "Upload" option, just type in the "URL" box, the URL address of the picture on the other website.

Enter any copyright information or leave it blank.

Click on the "Private Box" if you want just yourself to be able to view the picture or leave blank for public viewings.

When you are ready, click on the "Submit" button for the software to include it into the database.

You will receive a confirmation that all has gone well and to await the receipt via email once it has been authorised by one of the sites administrators.
