As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

Conty, cameras and scanners can be a bit unkind at times with artwork,i can tell the drawing would look much sharper in the flesh(so to speak, hehe),i like it ,well done..its about time i had another dabble,i got a load of new kit at xmas, haven't had it out of the box yet,i'll use an arty excuse and say i've had no insperation,hehe..

thanks tom, i would like to see some of your art work, youll have to get those xmas pressi's out and have a dabble,  as for inspiration, i think a really good body, face or eyes, gets me going or anything thats beautiful, mind you i think an lod haggered face can be also beautiful, showing the lines of time and a life lived.

as for nude models!!!! pheww would mind living where you do!!!! hehe

Cony, brilliant, I'd love to see the original drawing, it must be even better. You have a real talent. I hope you get the chance to use it. Nice thing is that in about 4 years we'll be climbing out of depression hopefully and there will be a demand for your talents.

here you go, i did a bit more to it last night, i darkened up the background, i still have quite a bit to do, as you can see the original is very dark so ive used a bit of imagination on my drawing.

Rob,I dont own enough pencils to draw a Bacup nude model,hehe...

Conty,I wouldn't be able to keep my hand steady enough to draw the young female that you have done ,Embarassed....hehe...

Well done, love the highlights on the elbows they almost seem to come out of the page..you also seem to have been able to add light in your drawing where it does not appear in the photo, and yet it looks perfectly right...very clever!
