The small conical emitters are being installed on the lamp posts in Skipton Road. No news from Mrs Trelliss. Only good thing is that Turkey foil is on sale in the Cathedral of Chice. Bit thicker than usual brand. Good for lining beanies to block the transmissions.

A post has gone AWOL. Was it Boris who was in retreat with some monks?

It was the sighting of the man in the monk's habit riding a cycle in Addingham that got me wondering.

Ha! Thanks Another , I see what you mean. Yes I accidently added a space, makes a big difference. OK, ok I think those watching should be more alert, maybe they are using new technology and a new approach of detection may be necessary.

My radio is doing funny things, there were some drop-outs and strange noises on FM yesterday and we had rogue pips at one point during a programme.

You've got me there Moh, I'm not the high-tech type, but I think these days it involves more than normal radiowaves.

One sign of the attack is the sudden increase of the word 'festive' in advertising. Mince pies in the COC already.....

I saw on driving through Brierfield the same antenna as last year are already erected. Also on the bypass just past Carr Hall on the left hand side there is a receiver fixed to one of the lamp posts - that looks ominous!!

I can't help thinking of John Major and the 'Cones Hotline'. We have our own mini-version. I see Sainsbury's advertising on TV, two cases of beer for £15. Cheaper than bottled water. Is it any wonder pubs are closing.

The large emitters were switched on this weekend. Little doubt the campaign has started again. No news at all from the Ilkley area. Mrs Trelliss, Boris and Beamsley Bob appear to have vanished off the face of the earth. Room for conspiracy theories here I think

Maybe they have been 'taken' so that they cannot interfere! (Wonder what Graham would have to say about this topic??
