I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Beautiful evening here - blue sky and no wind - shame it wasn't like this all day.

Almost, still that residual nip in the wind.  But, it is warming up slowly, there is hope for us yet.

Pleasanrt enough though rain is forecast.
I trust you will be thinking of me this morning as I brave the elements and the  shoppers. As C is not workinhg for the first Saturday in ages she and Cath have arraged to go shopping in Preston and I've been told I'm going as well - though I do feel a twinge of something in my knee that might just keep me at home !! It looks very pretty out of my window that overlooks next door's garden. A drop of dew hanging on each blade of grass. The sky is a pale silvery blue. No breeze at all.

You may get caught in a thunderstorm.  Forecast is for severe storms to move slowly up the country.  Hit Barlick this afternoon?  Looks a bit threatening even now but so far dry and almost balmy.

We've had lovely weather this weekend.  22C each day, I even made a point of sitting in the sun to read the sunday paper today.
Back to work tomorrow with the rain, the jacket and scarf, might even look for my gloves ...  gosh it's fresh in the mornings waiting for that bus!  I know it's only about 8.30am your time, (5.00 pm here), but Have A Great Week Everyone .. Smile

Wind definitely from the South as rain spots that have dried on there look to contain our share of the Sahara. Nolic

Rained steadily for the past hour but it is not cold.  Lovely day yesterday sat out in the sun with a glass of chilled white wine  can't beat it....

No thunder in Barlick as yet but steady rain since 10am.  Ladslove is really perking up now in the front garden.  Looking quite healthy.  Weedkiller hasn't bitten yet but glyphosate is slow but certain.

Plenty of rain, with more to come during week.  Clear sunny week-end ahead.   Leaves have turned, and flowers are still blooming.   Smile
