As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

Good lad Conor, don't worry about the next bit, keep your head and be methodical. They're not expecting a racing driver, just a competent youngster who keeps his head together.

haha im here dont worry, knickers are all done maybe a bit of tweaking before its sent off for scanning, im working now on the other drawing and that too is not too far off being finished. i will post some updates tomorrow if not later today, so WARNING new posts are on their way for those who may be offended by the subject. ive not been around as i am trying to keep my head above the water with driving lessons, A level mock exams, drawing and trying to find some time in all of that for my girl. i have had a really upsetting week though, im sooo mad i cant even find the words. all of my art work that was handed in for my GCSE art exams, every single frame has been wrecked/damaged which cost me £200, i am so mad i very nearly walked out of 6th form yesterday. they dont seem to care or understand just what it means to me. i think i am studying in the wrong place to study art.

Conor, that reminds me of how my Geography teacher at school said I hadn't handed in my book for marking. I insisted that I had - at the same time as everyone else handed theirs in. I could remember putting it on the pile of books. He threw me out permanently and that was the end of Geography for me. I'd been top of the class in the subject. This was in the 1950s and he got away with it, my parents didn't kick up a fuss. I sympathise with your loss but don't let it affect your studies!

Excellent Conor, sorry to hear about the loss of your project work. The saving grace is that you have talent pouring out of you to be able to produce work like this, you are bound to go far.

panbiker my work isnt lost. thank god. the frames that my work was framed in is damaged, not the art work. thats fine, but i am still angry as it cost me so much. i am pleased you like the 2 new drawings, i am not signing these until they have been scanned so that all the limited editions can be hand signed and numbered myself, i just dont know how many to produce 100 of each? or more, you just dont know if and how well they might sell

Glad to hear you still have the artwork Conty, Frames can easily be replaced, unfortunately at added expense but the time and skill you have put in is another thing entirely.
