I love painting and am a local amateur painter have got an N.V.Q. Level 4. I sell locally but not recently. I work as an Art technican, which involves allsorts really! I think more should be done in schools as painting is a good way of helping children communicate and deal with stress, adults too !

I can do a bit of one, not so far with the second and a fair bit higher with the last but no-one wants to compete nowadays. Nolic

Have a look at the link below. About halfway down there is a small tutorial on uploading images to the site. It may be of help

Kev, kev, I thought you had come like a knight in shining armour to help me (and Flutters) sort out our pic posting probs... I noted with shame that I had read the link you put up, before, and obviously learnt nothing from it, so i determined to read more slowly and follow it more carefully and at first success seemed within my grasp, excitedly i watche dthe computer tell me it was downloading a picutre that i had submitted... i knew what to do next, copy and paste the URL, yes, there it was oh so close, i clicked on it to copy it and the whole thing dissappeared in to the wide blue yonder! I had before me instead a list of all the pic catagoties, " easy" i thought, just find your pic entitled "Belle's Art" under the catagorie you put it in...'x others' and copy the URL then...sadly although the search engine keeps telling me there is one pic entitled this it will not let me open the little red cross nor show me where this pic is... so it is lost in the bowels of the machine untill one of you 'Jim'l fix it types' can help me out! I know I am hopeless, I do try but I fail so miserably....help!

Thankyou for your comments re Febby's portrait. It is only the second thing I have ever painted. The first was a few weeks before that when I painted one of my son. I had been watching Rolf Harris on that program "Star Portraits", which I really enjoyed....and I turned to febby and said "They make it look so easy, I think I could do it". He encouraged me to have a go.....or was it to 'put my money where my mouth was'? Can't remember now but it probably was the latter! No other experience other than that except way back in the dim past at school, though I do design a lot of my own patterns for applique etc....oh....and I am a bit of a dab hand at Pictionary....
I have never tried peeing up a wall, and I can't even think of a suitable wall on which to try. I could probably give you a little contest with the belching if I happen to have eaten onions Nolic......think I could manage to belch 'God Save The Queen' on occasion. Couldn't spit to save myself though.

Maybe you and Belle are neighbours Flutterbye....and you never knew it!
I am hopeless at posting pics. Un-do-able for Maz. I just reduce mine and email them to Stanley and ask him to pop them on relevant topic.
You don't mind , do you Stanley?
