Not a pair of gloves or hand cleaner in sight. I did this, this morning at the U3A Art group that Wendy runs.
I know the mouth is a funny shape but otherwise I am quite pleased with this as I could never draw animals of any sort. Last time I tried a cat it looked like a RAT!!

I've remembered it, you can only get FEMALE tortoiseshell cats as they need two colour forming alleles. It may be 'black forming allele or a tabby
The tortoishell cats also involves the ginger gene but in a different way and its inheritance involves lethal double factors (males which survive this are tortie very rare mutation and usually, but not always sterile) and is established early on in the gestation. EXTRACT FROM A WEBSITE

She isn't telling us Sue....it must be a surprise. Belle, I wonder if Rob, or anyone else, would like to join us? If it is going to be a decent day we could spread outside.

I was waiting till I saw the weather forcast..outside is definitely to be aimed at..it may be a long time before we get the chance again, so the world (around Wendy's is your oyster..you might choose buildings, animals, flora, or views...if you have an easel bring it, I will provde the boards as always.. and any materials you might need. I was also waiting to hear back from someone else..will tell you more about that when I see you. Which will be soon!

It will be nice to work outside. Do remember that it is usually about 3 degrees cooler here than down below, and windier, so bring warm clothing whatever the forecast! Oh, and wellies are a good idea too. None of my animals are looking their best....the hens are moulting (some are almost featherless), the ponies are covered in dried on mud and getting shaggier by the minute. George the cockerel is quite handsome at the moment though..... Not much in the way of flowers, but I am growing some quite attractive red cabbages. Lots of possibilities!
