I'm currently working on a new series called The People's Cook Book for UKTV food. It's a celebration of the diverse culinary cultures of Britain. We're looking for possible contributors to take part, people that have a passion for a particular recipe that has been passed through the generations and that they have possibly developed and adapted to their own taste. Does the recipe have a particular story attached to it, was it created to celebrate a particular event or does it have an unsual regional speciality? If so, please don't hesitate to get in touch! My e-mail is steve.chapman@denhams.tv.

It seems to me to be a wonderful opportunity to ressurect the famous Weets Ferret and Tomato Pasty. Another that might be of interest is the widely known and well loved Marton Mince and Marmite Muffin, or even Sodom Egg and Chutney Trifle.

Stew an 'ard MUST be featured!
I hope somebody reponds to Steve (no good my doing it - I'm useless at cooking!)
I might proffer my Grandma's Nutties but that's not really a full meal (unless you eat the whole lot after baking them, which in my case is not beyond the realms of possibilty...)
