We have recently gone back to doing good old fahioned jigsaw puzzles, most of them culled from charity shops. I started wondering if there were any digital jigsaws for those who are handicapped fingers wise, sure enough there are and for a modest outlay you can download software to make your own. Type in "Digital Jigsaw Puzzles" and have a rummage.

I used to love doing jigsaws.  We stayed in a boarding house a few times in Scarborough and there was always a jigsaw out for people to put in a few pieces.

I used to enjoy a good jigsaw puzzle too, and similar to the boarding house, a friend of ours often had one on the go on her billiard table, visitors would often put a few pieces in place.

There is a fantastic jigsaw shop at Whitby. I wanted to buy several but had no room in my case to bring them home and postage was way too expensive. I went in there several times to admire them all.

We've done a few transatlantic sea crossings with lots of days at sea. There are always jigsaws available but I get mad when people come and hover over my shoulder offering advice or (worse) putting bits in.  Very childishly I wait till they've gone, take out the bits they've done, and hide them from myself in a pile of other pieces. Embarassed

My friend and I do a lot of jigsaws when in France. We are quite happy to sit somewhere quiet, with a glass of something nice and chat about everything and nothing while we put the picture together.

One I have been using for over 10 years is Jigsaws Galore ( formerly Puzzle Master) ...... I found it to be the best of many when I first started using it and I believe it still is
