New topic intended for posting examples of all artwork. Please post your pics here, even the ones that are in other topics. It makes it easier for everyone to find the wonderful stuff you have already posted.

Belle, If you go to the menus at the top of the page, click Forums, then click New Pictures, your picture is there. Click on it to get the page with the piccy and its details of who posted it etc. But this is still not the main picture - clcik on it and it will open another page with nothing at all but the picture. Now copy the URL from the box at the top of your browser and put that in the post. It looks good!

Thanks Tizer, been trying all morning but I can't seem to copy the box at the top of my browser...I updated my internet explorer to Windows 8 about 4 months ago and have been regrettng it ever since...there is no obvious URL anywhere for me to copy, just the hhtp address, is that the same thing? It's immaterial anyway as I can't copy it.):

Suze, saw Jeremy Ford on Painting and Drawing on Monday - I can see where your style comes from. Cath has bought me agreat birthday present , a 1 day landscape workshop at Bolton Abbey next spring. I have heard a rumour that F Xmas might be bringing an easel and a daylight lamp. Then all I need is some time to paint!!! Nolic

Belle, sorry I didn't explain that the URL (Universal Resource Locator) is the same as the http address. I used the term URL because I thought you had used it in your post and therefore you were familiar with it.
Anyway, it's the line beginning with http in the long box at the top of the browser. I use Firefox browser so I don't know exactly what happens in Internet Explorer. Try placing your cursor in that window, on the address. If you can do that then you should be able to copy it by at least one of several methods.
1. Does the address become "selected" ("highlighted") when you put the cursor on it? If so, just press Control C (or go to the Edit menu and click Copy). This should save the address into the clipboard memory and you can then use Control V (or Edit menu, Paste) to paste it wherever you like.
2. If it is not automatically selected, try dragging your cursor from one end of the address to the other. Or put the cursor at the beginning, and press three keys at once - Control, Shift, End. Either (or both) of these may select the address so that you can copy as in (1) above.
3. One of the above should work but here is another trick which might be better for you if IE does not make it easy to copy from the box. You can get the address from the earlier page - remember above I said click on your picture in New Pictures, and that opens a page with the picture and details, then I told you to click on that picture to get the one with the actual address? Well when you get the picture with the title and your name, *right* click on the picture. This should open a menu - then click on "Copy Link Location" (or similar words) and it will be copied into the memory (don't click "Copy Image Location" or you will get the wrong address).
And if none of it works - here is the address you want!

Perhaps others out there with Internet Explorer can check for Belle and see if these ways of copying work?

Rob,ive just noticed that ive not said that your Bolton painting of the chimneys and mills is absolutely wonderful, great detail and very accurate, your best one yet in my opinion...
Belle/Tize,i just copy and paste the picture itself,Bob worked out how to do it by accident when he was trying to get his pictures onto a topic..left click the picture you want, place cursor over the picture, right click, select "copy"from the choices, then go to the topic and put your cursor over the reply box, right click and then select "paste",your picture will then appear ,,,doing it this way you can click the picture on the topic and you can veiw the larger image....

These pics are getting better and better.... Belle, do yourself a favour and download Firefox for free. Far better than IE and works perfectly with windows. Don't try to delete IE windows doesn't like that. Just leave it sat there and ignore it. Dead easy to download and set up, ten minutes of a job and you won't regret it.

Just had a look at the Barlick pic you mention, Moh, what a fantastic photograph, it would certainly make a pleasing subject for a painting. Definitely not an hour of a job!!
