I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Damp is the best way to describe up here today. Quite mild though.

We have had a lovely Autumn day today.   Our weekend will be 19C with showers.  Everyone was expecting to turn the clocks back this weekend, but it won't happen now till next weekend.  Our nights are getting much cooler, mornings much darker.  I'll miss the extra hour daylight, but appreciate the cooler weather.

Yes...it was a lovely day, Cathy. It felt warmer in the sunshine than just 19 degrees.

It has been cold and wet this morning, BUT, the sun has now come out and it is quite pleasant.

Beautiful morning in Barlick, warmer, light breeze and blue skies.  However, they promise us wind and rain later in the day.  Not sure if it will reach us here.  We seem to escape a lot of the woirse weather from east and west by virtue of being on the Pennines at 500 feet.

Snap   Beautiful start to the day up here as well, very high wisps of white cloud against a background of blue.

Laid in bed listening to rain this morning. It was lovely. Not cold enough to pull the quilt up on my side, though Febby had it up around his chin.

Just got bedspread out and guess what - the sun has gone behind grey clouds - just hope the rain holds off - the wind is blowing it nicely.

Got it in - it is on the hall radiator - the heating is on because it has gone so cold - it is blowing and raining quite heavily now

Wet flags but not raining.  Still warmer and hardly any wind.  I have a feeling spring is very close.
