What are you charging for Gallery space, a fixed fee for fixed term or a % if sold

No problem Belle, give me a ring and we will sort it out...
Sue, we are going to charge a percentage when sold of 15% which seems pretty reasonable compared with a lot of places.
The lowest I was quoted was 20% and the highest 35%!!!

Yes most seem to charge 20%. I may put some of my unwanted Oils in . I am thinking of donating all or some of the proceeds to charity

Sounds good Sue, we will sort something out, it will be a few weeks before the gallery is up and running, concentrating on filling the studio space, you must come over and have a look....

Strange this talk of meeting - I dreamt last night that Belle came to visit us. She came on her bike, and when it was time to leave the handlebars kept going down, and she got quite upset!!!!!

Oh dear....perhaps you were dreaming at the same time I was trying to adjust the seat on the exercise bike at the spinal rehab clinic? It burns up more calories adjusting the seat than it does riding the bike for 5 mins!

Keep at it Belle, you never know at this rate you will be able to ride over to Wendys for our get together...
Went to hospital this morning to have my dialysis tube removed from my abdomen!! Had to be in Manchester for 7am, thought it would be an all day ofa job, but was in the operating theatre by 9am, had it done under sedation and back home for me dinner at 12!! Now its all systems go and as back to normal as I have ever been.....

Rob what can I say , my toe fades into oblivion compared to that , and Belle I know what you mean about adjusting those seats. By the time the whole is set up just as you want it you are read to collapse!!!! However hope you are feeling a bit better. I have had a bit of an off day today but only aches and pains and a few sudden jarring pains. I think I must have slept in a funny position. There again I was standing alot yesterday in my oils class
It was watercolour and pen today, a theme I am going to continue tomorrow as I do an illustration for the book
Sue
PS Stanley, cutting looking well. It has lots of space in a colourful yellow pot, in the greenhouse away from this awful weather Sue

Robin, yes, it brings it all back into perspective. All I can do is sympathise and admire your resilience. Stick in there!

Good, can;'t wait to put some of my better pictures in there. There are so few places to do that these days. I can't show my better watercolours as they are all ' in the style of' and I have not got permission to use and sell them. However I do have permission for my oils, in fact the teacher positively encourages it
Now I must get on an do more of my own like the Canal bridgesketch and the Todmorden farmhouse Sue

Fantastic portico, Stanley, I think that the local quarries must have had pattern books and produced these entrances almost off the shelf.
There is an identical portico at Sykeside House over at Haslingden.
