First train from Colne to Skipton in 37 years! Although it's on 1 April 2007, it's NOT an April Fool's joke. Book your place on "The Missing Link" now!

If/when the rail link is restored, it will take just 12 minutes to make the 12-mile journey, but in the meantime this special one-off chartered train will travel from Colne to Skipton via Burnley, Blackburn, Clitheroe and Hellifield - a total of 50 miles.

Departing Colne at 10:40, arriving at Skipton 13:18, then dep. Skipton 16:12 and arr back in Colne aat 18:03 - total round trip of 100 miles.

All this will cost you just £16 (the chartered train isn't subsidised so unfortunately no concessions apart from under 16s accompanied by an adult: £11)

You'll have a great time on the trip, having fun with all the other passengers PLUS you get time to spend pottering round Skipton and all its delights (castle, market etc).

For a booking form, visit http://www.selrap.org.uk (tell 'em OGFB sent you) or call Derek on 01282 690411.

It would really help them plan the numbers if you booked at least 2 weeks before the departure date - say by 16 March.
