As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

Don't encourage him moh.  There is a surprising amount of space in some little cars including the Micra. I'm only 6' 3 1/2" ( very important that 1/2) but very bulky and I can drive a MIcra and my wife's Citroen C2 - when she lets me - without any problem. Mind you I only have short legs. Nolic

hahaha im not daft!! im not even thinking fast car! stop worring. i was messing about in the bmw. the car i am going to buy (paying the deposit later today) is a 1.0 volkswagen polo, a little slow tank. its a 2001 model with 62000 on the clock. bright red and in perfect nick no dents or scratches and the inside is like brand new. its the car mums haggled down £600. to £1900 with a warranty.

we spent nearly all weekend looking at cars and my little polo is the best value for money we seen for year, mileage and condition. hopefully all being well tonight i will be the proud owner. dads taking it for a drive first, just to double check everything me and mums done LOL

At least it's bright red - they'll see him coming and have more time to get out of the way.

Only one piece of advice on driving Conor. Get hold of a copy of the Hendon Driving Manual. ('Roadcraft. The Police drivers Driving Manual') and read it. It's the best short guide to what constitutes safe driving. If you get that and apply it you will cut down on the chances of having an accident. Look on Bookfinder.com for a s/hand copy, there will be plenty on there for nowt. Best and cheapest insurance you'll find! (But what the hell do I know about driving, old, no licence, no car and frightened of modern traffic)

nolic, just looked at that link, i think they made a mistake in the headline as the quote was £7000. but its still day light robbery. mums been on the case for me, and Quinn who insures us young lads have got the adjusters in, something about going bust so she wont let me put my money there in case i lose it. anyway shes on the case of finding ways of getting it cheaper. so im just leaving to her.

been doing my building work, i shifted 4 tons of soil today with a shovel, lets just say i wont be drawing for a while LOL im in agony!!!
