i wasnt meaning you belle in my comment. i know nudity doesnt offend you. but it does lots of others.
i had one woman take it upon herself to privately email me and tear me to shreads about naked bodys and god, and it didnt even have anything to do with my latest drawings it was all about the topless drawing 'calender girl' mum soon emailed her right back and put her straight.
but mum said she thought this womans cheese has slid off her cracker, anyway she must sorted her out as i didnt get any more mail from the nutter

Naked body's and God...that sounds interesting! God made naked bodies as far as I am concerned, and He looked at everything and saw that it was good....feeling ashamed about nakedness arrived with a certain snake a few chapters later!

I am REALLY sorry to have to say this Connor, but this is just soft porn.....and I'm pretty sure you know it .!
Nobody else seems to want to tell you......
You can discuss the niceties of the gender or strength of the hand , the texture of the skin , and so forth, as long as you like , .....but this is an image of someone's backside ......and you have chosen to add an erotic element...
Don't get me wrong , there is a place for erotic art ......but maybe it's time to consider what to do next ..eh !
If you draw (or photograph ) good life studies , loose the lace......!
I mean it .......in a Friendly way .

Moh, thank you. I promise not to bring it up again for at least two years!
I don't see the drawing as 'soft porn' at all but that is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone is allowed an opinion. I think it's a brilliantly executed drawing which invites interpretation by the viewer. What we bring to it is inside our own heads. One thing is certain, we all see advertisements every day which are nearer 'soft porn' than this is.
Conor love the expression 'the chees had fallen off the cracker' , never heard that before. When do I get my scan/file/ signed framed print? (I think a white surround and a slim, plain black frame would be excellent.)By the way, we are talking money here. I'd like to be the first customer who put his money where his opinion is! Please mail me a quotation.

whats next?? im not sure. ive got a few commissions here waiting to be done so maybe one of them.
i had a newspaper reporter here last night hes doing a peice about me and he said he wants to commission me to do a drawing for him and his family, also ive had a bbc producer asked if i would draw her and her little girl. so ive got a bit to choose from. plus ive still not drawn my girlfriend, i wont be adding to the ribbon collection until about easter time all being well, that one i will be sharing my profits with breast cancer.
stanley, thankyou. i will get all the finishing touches done over the weekend, then ive got to get a scanned image done, then off to the printers, but as soon as ive costed it up i will give you a good price for my good friend. i will be in touch, thanks buddie

Not being an expert in this field, I don't feel I can hang a label on this except to say. I do recognise it a a great piece of drawing from a very talented individual. Just draw what you are comfortable with everything turns out right in the end.

thanks frank, thats all im trying to do is show what i can do drawing different things. its not a subject i plan on getting stuck on. ive got sooo much i want to. this is just the start. so none of you worry. im not going to turn into some porn artist, as i saidf from the very start, this drawing was always planned as my very most risky, and as it turns out. i was right.
but whatever you all think, my standing is the same. i do not see it as porn and never have. i think its sexy.. yes maybe but more sensual in my mind.
but you are all open to your own thoughts, ive never got upset by your constructive crits, i love it hear what you honestly think, so i dont mind at all. my consience is clear

We're going round in circles with this one, I don't think anyone for one moment doubts your ability to draw -your artistic merit is not in question here, so you are right to be cofident and unconcerned. However, despite all the encouraging noises re art being in the eye of the beholder, from well meaning friends, what Bradders is trying to say I think, is that if you are going into a proffessional career in art then you need to be careful that the work you choose to do is not seen as you "prostituting" your talent. Anyone can draw risque pics and sell them, it is not the talent that sells but the subject. Hope this makes my concenr clearer, i am not being a prude, but trying to quietly tell you your talent is above this sort of thing.

I think we should take note of Conty’s last comment, and keep it in mind. So far Conty has been gracious enough to show us many examples of his artistry. An Artist is made up of their own visions and many influences, this last image is just one. I don’t see it as being pornographic, it’s suggestive, but not pornographic. The work involved is beautiful to see. I think we are very privileged on OG to be included in Conty’s journey in it’s early stages. What will he share with us next? something very different I expect and I can’t wait to see it. Go Conty J
