The small conical emitters are being installed on the lamp posts in Skipton Road. No news from Mrs Trelliss. Only good thing is that Turkey foil is on sale in the Cathedral of Chice. Bit thicker than usual brand. Good for lining beanies to block the transmissions.

Decided to fashion a foil turban for my outing to the bank this morning..got a bit fed up with all the commments "You going cold turkey?" "Hairdressers chuck you out love?" but I think it afforded me the protection I needed..better stock up on foil!

How did you get your stocking up on the foil dish and tray? Was your leg and foot involved? I think if I tried that trick I might end up sorry rather than safe........

Have decorated the house for Christmas but did not put you-know-what up this year as I seem to have a shortage of power points in all the right places now that we have rearranged things. We had a similar Doh! moment, pointy thing setup in corner, navigation lights attached. Then realised I had blanked off the socket so we could have a radiator fixed on the wall
Having a conical thing in the corner of the room is OK at our house as the new radiator acts as a faraday shield so it cannot be used as a relay. I'm keeping my eye on the navigation lights though just in case there is any fluctuation in intensity.

panbiker - thanks for reminding me what the coloured lights off the square are , I can now sail safely through the town square getting my startboard and port correct.

As I hang out on freecycle too , here is an advert posted recently
6ft Dark green pine C T in box with instructions (K*****k) This is a lovely C T which has been used for about 3 years. Still in good condition. I think it is 6ft but could......
--Comment--
I dont need one , I assume its not living , advert doesnt say what it has been used for for the last 36 months ( cleaning chimneys ? , or just lying dormant ? ) , I am almost tempted by the instructions as I need to know how to use a box.

Oh Deary Me ! Mother got a C T , from...er... TESCO (there, I've said it !)
Fully trimmed with spheres and battery powered Leds..(less than 18" tall)
...but she didn't realise it was ALIVE ! ( "I Thought it looked realistic , Dear" )...
Sometimes she really reminds me of June Whitfield !
What's most worrying is that it glows when it's switched OFF .....
Urgent Advice Please

PS Should OK overnight though.....Dexter just gave it a right good "Looking at "

Fat man in red suit spotted in Barlick yesterday. Panic over when it was realised it was a council worker in a safety suit. Just realised that the Faraday cages round the large emitters in the Town Square may be modulating the signal. Have the erectors missed this?

No need to worry Stanley, I noticed this also and was as concerned as you so I have checked the earthing arrangements on the cages and can confirm that and all is well. They are acting as a proper Faraday cages and are operating not far from the theoretical maximum of 20db of signal suppression.
With current temperatures and wind shift, the possibilty of tropspheric ducting of the signals is very much reduced also. We are safe for now but must be vigilant.

How nice to have expert information like that which can be trusted. I heard an interesting theory yesterday about the iron content of black puddings and the fact they might increase conductivity in brain cells thus enhancing the affect of the emissions. Should I eschew my weekly blood pudding?

Seems like a sensible precaution stanley unless you can eat it wrapped in foil.

(I'd love to now how many people are trying this at home ....right now ...come on , own up !)

Foil all in place, dish. 2 trays & extra long length, should be safe now!

Definitely saw lights this morning on the way into work. Difficult to get the direction but they seemed to be going from up to down and disappearing above the horizon (or where it would have been if it had been light). Yes fellow believers, there were shooting stars this morning at 03.30
