Lovely day, warmest this year. Looks the same again but light mizzle at the moment. Glass still rising, 29.5".

Had a lovely day up the Yorkshire Dales yesterday - coffe in Grassington, picnic lunch then a beer in Hawes in the sun.  Now it is lovely after early mizzle.

Glad to hear it Mags, must be a relief! Glass still holding up and it's dray and clement outside. We are having good weather and it's a pleasure. The buds have burst on the trees and the grass is growing. All we need to do now is avoid the cutting East winds we can get so easily at this time of the year.

We are promised even better today but late cloud perhaps and a colder spell next week. Still good weather! Glass steady on 29.6".

Just got back from a shirtsleeve walk round the town. Give the weather it's due, when it gets it right it's brilliant. Full sun, heavy dew, light breeze, cool enough to wake you up but all in all a brilliant day full of promise. Even Butts Beck is in a good mood, it's chuckling along it's bed as though it had just heard a good joke. Wonderful!

Cathy, if I am in shirtsleeves at 7am it's a good day! We hit 22C yesterday. It won't be as good today in many places but we could be lucky and have another one. The NW has for once been having the best of the weather. Glass is steady but showing faint signs that it might fall.

Can you not sleep Stanley??  Another glorious, hot day - had a lazy day in the garden yesterday after 2 days of heavy gardening.

Cooler today, with a few sprinkles, but I did manage to get a full line of washing dry. Just started sprinkling again now...raindrops on my window as I write.
Sleeping better this cooler weather. Start off with just a sheet, but pulling the quilt up about 4am. (then it all gets too hot and is pushed to half mast).

Belle, the realy encouraging thing for me is that there is no sign as yet of the wind swinging into the East, that's the killer at this time of the year. Cooler here this morning as well but dry and a good dew. Glass holding steady at about 29.6" Things could be a lot worse!
