This is just a test to see if I have managed to install additional software correctly and that everything works as it should.

Using the new Insert / edit embedded media button icon in the editor, I entered the details for the flash movie that hopefully you will see below. This new option should work for QuickTime, Flash, Real and Windows Media files, if the files do not start playing in your browser, then more than likely you will need a new software driver, most of the media files will prompt you if you have a driver missing.

I tried to post a QT movie but couldn't get it to recognise the URL on my machine.  Did I need to get it on the site first like I do with a picture?  IE. from a drop down menu at the top of the page?

Bloody Hell Doc, this site needs a health warning.  I opened this post and it went straight to the last  entry and just as I was starting to puzzle out what t wasall about this weird sound started and I jumped out of my porridge. Good idea though. Nolic

Yes Stanley, the media needs to be on the net and not on a local hardDrive, I am trying to figure out the best way to enable users to upload their video clips, the picture's module is no good because it will try and resize it, I think the best bet would be the downloads module. Let me think about it and I'll get back to you.

How much are we paying Homer Simpson?  Good advice about posting though if anyone bothers to listen to it.
