Does anyone know any Whipp family history for Robert Whipp born 1822, Twiston, Yorks. He married Anne Barritt of Chatburn, Lancs on 14.2.1852 and was a stone quarry worker living at Waterloo, and Albion Street, Clitheroe. I believe his father was called James and mother Mary (possibly nee Waring) both born around 1781 and married on 6.10.1808. I need to know James' father (possibly Edward?) and which branch of the Whipp family line this follows back to James Whipp and Mary Boulcocke in 1657 if at all? Can anyone help with this.. much appreciated!!

Welcome to the site Pandora. Look for a topic 'Whipp Ancestors'. I've brought it up to the front. Always a good thing to use the 'forum search' in the drop-down Forum menu.
