I am having trouble accessing the site, sometimes I cannot get on at all (page unavailable), sometimes it goes so slow it times out, and yet at other times it can be fine. Is it my provider, Orange, or is it the site? Is anyone else finding this happening?

I'd be dangerous with a brain!!!!!

Tell me you WALKED up that hill to take the pic....and left the car at the cottage.
Looks lovely, Pluggy....though I have memories of renting a cottage in Cornwall several years ago and it really was in the middle of nowhere. I found it a bit too isolated. A lot of the farms were in lock down due to Foot and Mouth and it was difficult to get about. I make a point of not booking things out in the 'wilderness' any more! (though your little cottage has heaps of civilisation compared to what we rented.)

Maz, if you mean the picture I posted, then yes we walked up to the top of the hill and took a telephoto shot of the cottage area - but we drove to a place on the other side of the hill to see an old mine engine house then walked from there. We wore ourselves out walking on bits of the coastal path.

Pluggy the Bude cottage looks great. Muddy tracks are fairly normal! (And single track roads are like home for us.)
