I've just found a good archive of free photos of Royal Navy ships, aircraft and marines available at the Royal Naval Air Service (Yeovilton) web site. I'd missed it before because I usually look for the RNAS Museum site, whereas this is the MOD site for the base. Most of the photos can also be downloaded in formats for use a screensavers or computer wallpaper.
Go to the following web address then click on the "Multimedia Centre" menu at the top of the page. Then click on Picture Gallery or look specifically for screensavers etc. There are also videos, games, interactive tours and "ecards".
