You won't find this in Philip Street now, it vanished when the Park Road surgery was remodelled. It's the frame for a rain water tank and the maker was Billycock Bracewell's foundry at Burnley that eventually became Burnley Ironworks.

Interesting topstones on a wall in Philip Street just off Ridge Street. Fairly certain they are from round a mullion window but I could be wrong.

Chapel Street in 1982. The monkey Puzzle tree is still in the garden of the house where Edith Barlow the midwife lived.

This yard in York Street used to be the hub for piped radio and TV in Barlick.
