New topic intended for posting examples of all artwork. Please post your pics here, even the ones that are in other topics. It makes it easier for everyone to find the wonderful stuff you have already posted.

Well strictly speaking the Creative Wrting group at Todmorden U3A ( University of the third age), I am the convenor for my sins, and for my abilities as an organiser, certainly not my creative writing skills. Stanley kindly agreed to be our speaker in December, based on his experiences of writing his memoires and online publishing . I couldn't be more grateful . Does anyone know any other budding published authors that would be prepared to give a talk out of the goodness of their hearts. Lunch thrown in

Moh, 'To the pure all things are pure'. I don't do talks these days, it's very tiring but I couldn't refuse Sue. I've got a brief case full of examples of the books ready to go in the hall. Must see if me '2000 acres in Norfolk' suit still fits me!

Well at last here at last are the two sunflower cushions now completed. Flowers done on white fabric using batik , then quilted, then beaded and finally made up into cushion covers.

You'll not be going into volume production then?

Thanks Belle. I enjoyed doing something that was very different
Sorry to hear your back is so bad, I remember it well. i have just had the results of my third MRI scan ( the last one was last August). Basically my lumbar and first sacral vertebara and discs are in a bad way but luckily little deterioration since last year. Something has aggrevated them over the last few months but we don't know what . I can't even do my all my back exercises at the moment, but i am mobile and the tablets are doing their bit, so I can function normally with just a few twinges.
What is the prognosis for your back , are you going to have an operation. Mine was very successful ( not the same problem as i have now)

Not sure yet, I must finish my course of physio, which was interrupted over the summer, then go back and see what the long term outcome wil be. I didn't ask enough intelligent questions the first time so I need to do that now.

Yes I am a determined type of person , but it has momentarily de-railed me. i was thinking about you and your other half this morning, a great example of fortitude, and one i won't ignore. The pic didn't get in by the way, but it is gracing my dining room wall. Thanks for your help.

If you are ever thinking about another OGFB Painting Day Out I would be happy to offer my place as a venue. Stunning views or stone walls, sheep, more sheep, ponies, hens & ducks...
