Nice sun in Barlick as well Moh. Glass rising and at almost 29.2". The blocking high still has some life in it!

The roads remained wet where the road was in shadow all day yesterday, similar day expected here today. All the ponds are low in water, we need some rain in the lowlands.

Jules, there has been quite a lot of comment on Farming Today over the last few weeks about the shortage of rain. A farmer from your area was saying they are about 12" under the normal average. That's a lot of rain and it doesn't look good for streams and aquifers next year.

Glass fallen slightly but still above 29". Yesterday was a misty dry day but not cold and no wind to speak of. There are some gale warnings in the Southern sea areas, could be more boisterous weather moving up towards the SE. No big change evident here. Quiet weather!

Nice quiet slightly misty day, but still mild. Keen frosts and gales with much colder air from Thursday onwards.

Some breaks in the low cloud yesterday at Letcliffe time but views limited to about 5 miles. Glass still steady at just above 29", light rain at the moment but very little wind. No great change in prospect. What a wonderful November!

Just been to Bury Xmas shopping with my granddaughter and it was quite foggy over there.  A bit misty and damp here.

Doesn't feel like winter in Barlick yet Belle! Brad, same here but no frost because of the SW breeze. Wonderful weather!

Glass is rising again at 29.3" dry as a bone and not cold. Looks as though this good weather could see November out!

Sounds like a good idea, Moh. I don't like shopping any time of year so to bury it would be great...

That made me chuckle Kev. - I am not keen on shopping, but it needed to be done and it was nice to spend time with my granddaughter.
