I love painting and am a local amateur painter have got an N.V.Q. Level 4. I sell  locally but not recently. I work as an Art technican,  which involves  allsorts really! I think more should be done in schools as painting is a good way of helping children communicate and deal with stress, adults too !

You have to have clean areas, goes without saying...I'm talking general cleaning. Doing a bit of a crossover with topics - the oldest thing in my house is probably the dust!

Hey now, who says when I last did it. I used to clean thoroughly every weekend when I worked, now I do it when I need it, I'm far too busy enjoying myself to worry now.  It was certainly pre Christmas when it was thoroughly done... loo and kitchen done very often but a bit of dust is no problem.  Although I must admit I like things neat and tidy

Ah good, you had me worried then Mel. Mind you as a trained bacteriologist I suppose I can't help but think about bugs and stuff.

I bleach me chopping board and use a clean dish cloth and towel every day.  Quentin Crisp reckoned that the dust stopped building up after three years.  I reckon he's right.  You can't tell the difference between 3 years undusted and ten years.......

If i can find the photo,s i will have another go! i find perspective hard so i have tended to avoid doing buildings. But there are so many lovely buildingsaround here and i love the mills particuarly. Thanks for the kind comments Belle!

I'll have you know that Philips was evidently on the sauce when he wrote that bit.....  Mind you Flutters, for my age I am still quite presentable........  One or two scars but no wrinkles or various veins.
