The small conical emitters are being installed on the lamp posts in Skipton Road. No news from Mrs Trelliss. Only good thing is that Turkey foil is on sale in the Cathedral of Chice. Bit thicker than usual brand. Good for lining beanies to block the transmissions.

Just glanced out of the window (yes it is very dark still) and thought I saw something - fleetingly. A strange apparition flying on a broomstick perhaps.... funny - it resembled a model of a certain Mrs A Nutter who I have hanging (or should I say suspended) from a beam in this room. Well it fooled me for 2 seconds.

Jules, there are rumours and speculation of course but the truth is that Mrs Trelliss, Beamsley Bob and Boris have fallen from view. If Boris was still about I suspect there would have been sightings in Barrowford.
The Xmas madness is well under way here in Barlick. Everyone seems to be selling trees and unlikely looking Santas are appearing in shop windows. I have two layers of turkey foil inside my hat and it appears to be working. Apart from replying to two Xmas cards from America I have managed to avoid any expenditure. I ordered another 12 1/2kg bag of dried peas on Friday but I don't think that counts!

Boris was run out of Barrowford a couple of months ago - throwing maggots to the fish in the Sweet Feet beauty emporium - so he will be keeping away for a bit. Last heard that Bob had joined Cirque du Soleil as a model for their grotesque masks. Nolic

The transmitters were turned on in Colne yesterday, so beware going there!

Despite clear instructions from a local believer, conical transmitters seem to have evaded capture in these parts. Overheard the conversation which seemed to have used the words "twits" "spruce" "fur" and "Norman" in rapid succession, also followed by the propensity for believers to see the large black panthers but never on a shoot day. Make of that what you will......

My mind is Boggling Jules. Comrade, perhaps Boris was the origin of the fishy feet nibbling health scare.

Boris didn't just create a scare - they had to close the shop down. Daft bu**er dumped about 10 pints of maggots into the water and the fish went barmy and ate themselves to full bloating so that swim bladers stopped working and they made their way up ladies legs.
Ladt in shop closed down whilst having the place fumigated but when it re-opened they has a blue botle infestation. ( Note never let any relatives of Ronnie of the powered pedal cycle claim they are bug experts!) Nolic

Stanley , I am confused by the traffic lights that have been affixed to the walls of some of the buildings as pictured , I presume I stop at the red one , proceed at the green , but the blue ones are new to me - do I jump up and down when I approach one of those ?
Also are these a matching pair of emmitters and can the star shaped things on top be rotated for directional effeciency? Are those stars of the sort where if you adjust wrongly the pair of emissions either double or cancel out ( I cannot remember all my O Level physics )

I do not know Whippers, it is all a mystery to me. They seem to be working, worried looking people are buying trees.....

Sales of foil have gone up too, plus foil shaped dishes - must be a reason for that!!

The heavy foil flan dishes mould well to the head under a hat.....
An alternative is to have a look at the bank and credit card statements before venturing out. This seems to have a beneficial effect.
