Guess where I am then add yours.
It is the 1960's I am looking at a roundabout, behind me is the local nightspot, to my right is the odeon cinema, across the roundabout is the "skyscraper", as it was likened to when built. Where am I and what is the name of the nightspot?

Cally's right. The Majestic at Barlick. Not local bands but The Four Pennies, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders etc. Streets were full of screaming kids. See topic "Barlick. Music Capital of the World" Nolic

Belle, when I was scraping Martha's house in Northfield I always had Kool108 on, 60s music wall to wall. They had an advert on there for a 'sunset home' which had the advantage of a casino attached. They laid a lot of stress on the fact that everyone got personal attention and there was one clip of a nurse going into an old blokes room one morning and wakening him with 'Good Morning Mr Johnson, it's Thursday!' I made a mental note that if anyone ever woke me up by telling me what day it was I would start doing some serious worrying!

Better than, "Good morning Mr Johnson, you still with us?" which has been heard in a care home not far from here. Nolic

My time clock is all out! Im awake odd hours!
See if you can guess where i am?
A town in Pendle , thisplace can easily take you to another, has Lancasire themed railings associated with cotton now !The Laburnums have long gone!i am going to borrow something or several? You go up some stone steps, through some revolving old glass doors. Sadly not revolving last time i was there! Where behind them at the side you can sit on wooden seats.
