On a similar architectural style, Sue, this is an oil painting of Moss Houses at Foulridge, I have just painted for one of our members.

I was just mentioning on another topic that I have purchased a pochade box of ebay, as I fancied having ago at painting outdoors as the weather improves.
I remember a couple of years back that it was suggested that we had a day painting out at some local place. I don't think anything came of it, any one interested in a similar escapade this year?

Interested, yes, but it may be difficult to fix a date, we are getting rather booked up for the summer already!!!
I like your oil painting , I seem to be getting into buildings at the moment. I fancy having a go at painting or pen and ink , our house in France. I did have a painting done a few years ago as a Christmas present for Bob

Sue pen and ink is definitely your medium...what about pen and wash? Blokky like your oil as well, yup I would be up for a painting day if I am free...and had the petrol money.

That sounds promising, Belle and Sue, we are free most of the time, not thinking of journying miles, any suggestions for possible locations....

I have done a pen and wash, twice, but bothwere in a class. I was going to make this one pen and wash but thought I may spoil what I had done.
We need to think about the type of location , rural, village, bulidings, canal. I am willing to have ago at anything. A central place to us all would be a good idea.

I am easy on location type, Sue, did we suggest Towneley Park as a possible last time? Not too familiar with immediate surroundings and possible locations round Barlick, though Foulridge Wharf and the canal might be a possibility, haven't been there for a while so the canal warehouse might have changed, but it always seemed quite photogenic.....

Well I was going to suggest Townley, I have never actually been to Foulridge Wharf which is a surprise as my ggggrandfather worked there!
