Even offcomeduns should get some of the clues - c'mon! You've been on OGFB - you should know the place like the back of your hand!
Lay nets over website contributor - hint: it's an anagram (7)
Rolls Royce engines not made of chocolate - hint: lots of bubbles in them
Other clues have been mentioned loads in postings - local delicacy accompanied by hard oat cakes etc etc. A big hill with a Celtic name - the three syllables all translate as hill (in fact the last word IS Hill - could it get any easier?.
What could I offer as a prize, I wonder? I could serenade you with a live performance of "Bernulf" (another answer!) NB: any Antipodean winner would have to pay my air fare, 5-star hotel accommodation, etc.
Sporty noblemen - OK, a bit difficult if you don't follow the Barlick Barons on the pitch. Oops - just gave away an answer there...
