I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Glad you're having some rain Maz.  We often forget in this country how lucky we are with the climate.  We are a green and pleasant land for a reason!  Jack and I walked off Letcliffe yesterday in a light snow shower.  I think it might be slightly warmer this morning and the flags are dry but we are expecting wind and rain later today.  Bit the glass is well up so no big surprises and I think we may have passed the cusp now and started moving into warmer weather.

Very cold morning up here, snow has gone from around the streets. Quite bright though not  many clouds around

Frank, one of the things about a black dog is that they show the snow up nicely as it falls.  Just been out with BJ and light hard snow is falling and melting on the ground.

Raining quite hard here now - re. Maz's cockatoos, there were flocks of them in Torremolinos last week - they make a very noisy raucous noise too.

Damp but slightly warmer in Barlick.  Bit of a change in the air?

Have spent the last few days looking at the weather out of a hospital window, I am so not bothered what the weather does now, I am just glad to be out in it.

Hope you are better very soon.

I'm late today as I had my annual check with the Oncologist at ARI. I had a tumour removed from my throat about 5 years ago. It was found to be benign, but it has the potential to return in a malignant form. So I go for a check up every year, same surgeon now for 5 years, I do like the continuity it's just that the year seem to come round ever so quick !!!!!.
I do seem to walk with a Spring in my step after being told everything in fine see you in a year

Ria, get better soon. If I'd known you were fed up at home I'd have popped in this morning to cheer you up. Nolic

Nolic, I don't get fed up at home, too much to do, and that is without the housework.

Bad news for us early birds.....  Another hour of darkness.  Wet and windy in Barlick this morning.  A nasty day, I'll get the shopping done at the butchers and then a scanning and writing day I think.
